There are 3 ways of looking for the information you need:

1. Search by category
2. Search by using keywords or parts of a keyword
3. Search by using a part of the company's name (anywhere in the name)

Ad 1) Categories are standard indexes that indicate what kind of business you are looking for. These categories are almost the same as used in the directories. There are some differences; we use as much as possible the category like you pronounce it. For example: automobile dealers instead of dealers automobile. If automobile dealers has a sub category we index that by using the symbol -.
Some companies can be found with more than 1 category. The company can choose the indexes but they have to be chosen from the list Yellow Pages Caribbean provides. If there is a category missing you can e-mail us and if there are more companies that want to use that category we can decide to add it.

Ad 2) Keywords are words chosen by the company and can be almost anything you can imagine. Keywords can be; brands, part of the company's name, categories or the general name of a category. The keywords used by Yellow Advertising are mostly written in the plural form and can consist of 2 combined words.
Examples are: cars, leasing, vacation, insurance, money, hotels, tourism, golf, and of course a brand. In keywords we do not use accents or any special letters, only when it is a brand we write it exactly the same way.
Rem.: by using the partial keywords option you can find some companies that have nothing to do with the keyword used. For example when you use the keyword car you can find companies that used the following keywords; cars, cargo, car paint, car rental and carpets.

Ad 3) If you use this option you can type any combination of letters and the result will be all companies that have the combination of letters you used in their company's name. For example: when you type cur you can find the following names; Maduro & Curiels Bank, Destination Curacao, Security Solution and Curacao export.

Here are some tips you could use searching for a company's information:
If you do not know the company's name you are looking for but you do know what kind of company you look for, you best use the first option; Search by category.

If you do not know the company's name and you do not know what kind of company you need, you could best use the second option; Search by using keywords or parts of a keyword.

If you know the company's name more or less, but not exactly, you best use the third option;
Search by using a part of the company's name (anywhere in the name)
